Lock Your Computer Screen In Windows 7

There are several ways for locking your workstation. But here are two most easiest and fasted methods for locking your computer screen.

Method 1:The most easiest as well as popular method for locking your computer screen is using the 'Keyboard Shortcut Method'. To immediately lock your computer, simultaneously press the Windows logo key and the L key. A few of us choose to utilize the mouse to lock it. And of course many people like to use both the options.




Method 2:

There is another method in which we can lock the computer screen. It is to create a shortcut for locking the computer screen in Windows 7. You can create a shortcut for locking the computer screen in Windows 7, XP and Vista too.
     1.To create a desktop shortcut that will lock your computer when you double-click it:


     2.Right-click the desktop, select New, and then ShortcutThis will open the Create Shortcut Wizard. 


     3.For the location of the item, type: %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation     4.Click Next

     5.Type an appropriate name for this shortcut, and then click Finish.


You will now have a shortcut on your desktop that will lock your computer when you double-click it.
